One Blade Of Grass

Since March 1st, this is the culmination of all the knitting I've done. I had hoped to wear this pair of socks by March 17th for Saint Patrick's Day. Today is March 18th and that is the first sock.

Turns out getting married and moving into a new place really cuts into one's knitting time. Ah well. I got the yarn from someone's destash on ravelry. It is Canon Hand Dyes on the Arthur BFL base in the colorway, "An Irishman is never drunk as long as he can hold onto one blade of grass and not fall off the face of the earth."

That is a fantastic colourway. And you know what they say about St. Patrick's Day: There's another one next year ;) Here's hoping things settle down a little so you can manage at least a few rows a day.

This is an unusual and special phase of life. The knitting will be there when you get back :) Also, I love that green! And the name :P

Such a vibrant colourway! Love it! Well, at least the time consuming events (even if very happy exciting things) have happened now. Hopefully there will be more time for more knitting now. :-)
