We've had an influx of praying mantises in the garden recently. I don't think I've seen any mantises in the garden for years, but in two days I saw two rather large guys. I named this one Manty.
A day later we met Manny the mantis. And they are quick!
As I was taking pictures, Manny decided to grab onto my camera lens.

Isn't that funny~ I hadn't seen any since I was a child {when I used to see them every summer}. Then I saw some again last year. But I haven't seen any this year. Odd little buggers, aren't they?
That reminds me of the stick insect tree outside my door at one of the houses I used to rent. The tree was obviously a magnet for them as a food source ( you could see where they had chewed the leaves), and it was always full of them. We saw some beauties!
Heehee, such a wonderland! I'm hoping to have a little garden of my own someday!
Oh well, I don't really like bugs... Cool pictures though! ;-)
